JUMPER

In 2017 we launched our new jumper which is still worn in 2025 Grand Final win. The Collingwood Magpies Community Team jumpers, formerly worn by the Collingwood Knights tell of our deep history. The artwork was created by Khali Luttrell, a proud Yorta Yorta woman, whose original design powerfully reflects the growth of football — particularly its significance and opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players.

At the centre of the design, the Magpie represents Collingwood’s spiritual heartland, Victoria Park.  A ground we continue to be based at today. Encircling the Magpie is a ring symbolising the football field itself — a place of gathering, connection and shared purpose. The surrounding dots represent both players and spectators, acknowledging the collective role of community in supporting and uplifting young people.

The intricate patterns woven throughout the design represent the many paths we have travelled, united by a single shared passion — football. In each corner, two groups of figures symbolise opposing teams, reflecting respect, competition, and togetherness within the game.

We acknowledge and express our sincere gratitude to Khali Luttrell for this meaningful artwork. It remains a symbol we wear with pride — honouring culture, community, and the powerful role football plays in bringing people together. More Than Just Footy.
